Safety and tolerability

In animal safety studies (using healthy young animals), Onsior has demonstrated no signs of toxicity, including no evidence of any gastrointestinal, kidney, or liver toxicity — even at high doses. Onsior had no effect on bleeding times in these studies, and also demonstrated no detrimental effects on cartilage or joints in dogs.¹

Limited adverse reactions with Onsior¹

With Onsior tablets, some cats experienced:

Mild and transient diarrhoea, soft faeces, vomiting.

With Onsior tablets, some dogs experienced:

Gastrointestinal adverse events (most cases were mild and recovered without treatment), vomiting, soft faeces, diarrhoea, decreased appetite; increased liver enzymes with clinical signs was uncommon.
